The growths on the body that look like light warts or dots on the legs that appear out of nowhere and often disappear without any treatment are papillomas.

The causative agent of the disease - human papillomavirus (from English - Human Papillomavirus) - penetrates the body from the outside, is unusually widespread: up to 80% of the world's population is its carrier!

Such a high percentage is due to the fact that infection occurs by touch, and it is almost impossible to limit the transmission of the virus.

Not all carriers pay attention to the disease and go to the doctor, so removal of papillomas at home is always important.

The nature of papillomavirus

The insidious virus can be found anywhere: on the neck, armpits, under the chest, on the eyelids, abdomen and genitals. In most cases, it is a benign formation. If a virus invades cell chromosomes and integrates into the cell nucleus, it becomes malignant.

Before starting treatment, you should consult a doctor to find out the nature of the virus and then choose an acceptable method.

Who is in danger

Modern man is haunted by chronic stress, illness and bad habits. Under such difficult conditions, the immune system fails, the gates open wide for various infections, and the papillomavirus is ready to attack. The most important prerequisites for increasing the activity of the virus:

  • severe stress;
  • pregnancy;
  • serious illness;
  • long-term use of medication;
  • older age;
  • avitaminosis;
  • bad habits: smoking, alcohol;
  • high sexual activity without protection.

If at least one of the signs is present, an exacerbation of papillomavirus and the occurrence of unexpected skin growth is likely.

Routes of infection

Anyone can get the virus. But there are factors where infection is almost inevitable:

  • transmission of virus from mother to newborn;
  • unprotected sexual contact with a carrier;
  • tactile contact with the patient;
  • when sharing household appliances;
  • visit the pool;
  • penetration of virus through wounds on the skin.

The carrier of papillomavirus can live peacefully for years and not suspect its presence, enlightenment usually occurs when the immune system is weakened. The virus, which rests in the basal layer of the epithelium, then comes to the surface and takes the form of genital warts or flattened plaques. Living with papillomas is not comfortable and not aesthetically pleasing.

The most effective treatment is to remove. You can not just cut off the legs of papillomas or try to cut them off, you can provoke active growth and reproduction of growths that grow into a malignant form.

At the first sign of infection, see a dermatologist or try alternative treatments.

Homemade recipes

By self-removal, only the superficial part is removed, the papilloma core is not affected. To completely destroy the virus, you should undergo treatment by a dermatologist. The most popular home methods for removing growth are:

  1. Celandine. The caustic juice of the plant burns warts, the same can be done with papilloma. Two treatment methods are known: to tear off a sheet of celandine, smear the papilloma with the juice that has come out, and seal it with a plaster. Grease again once every 2 days, after a while the papilloma will dry out and fall off. The other way: to make a "cocktail" of celandine, chaga and string. Freeze it in ice cube trays and apply on the plants three times a day for a few minutes.
  2. Kalanchoe pinnate is cut lengthwise, applied to papillomas, tied with a bandage and left overnight.
  3. "Garlic cream". Chop the garlic and mix the resulting mass with any cream in the ratio 1: 2. Then apply a piece of bandage and attach to the growth, glue it with a plaster. Leave on for 3 hours, then wash with soap and water.
  4. Healing baths. Pour boiling water over half a bucket of green chestnut leaves, then bring to a boil. Insist 12 hours. Prepare a bath from the resulting broth by adding water to a comfortable temperature. The treatment will take 2 weeks at a rate of 7 procedures every other day.
  5. Onion peel. Mix dry shells in a jar of vinegar. Tie the jar with parchment or a thick cloth, keep it dark for 2 weeks. Remove the shell and dry it, tie it to papillomas at night. Remove the bandage in the morning and soften the skin with an oily cream.
  6. Flower collection: 1 part tricolor violet, 1 part wormwood herb, 3 parts plantain, 2 parts clover flowers, St. John's wort, calamus root and dill seeds. Pour boiling water over the assembly to make 1 part of the assembly 7 parts of boiling water. Insist day, strain, take 1 tbsp. happen three times a day.

Superstition to help

Ancient semi-mysterious methods of removing papillomas have survived to this day. The most curious of them:

  1. Tie knots over the growths with a silk thread, stick the thread with knots into a sliced potato and store it where no one will find it. After a while, the potato will rot and the papillomas will disappear!
  2. Rub the growths with the potato cut in half: first with one half, then with the other. Put the halves together, put them in a dark place and try to forget. The skin will peel off after the potato decays.
  3. The most romantic way is by the light of the moon. In the light of the waning moon in the late evening, rub the papilloma on the surface lit by moonlight and the growth will disappear.

Such at first glance, unusual treatment methods were practiced by healers in the old days, and they gave a positive effect, were fixed by repeated repetitions.

Today, papillomavirus carriers have access to a variety of medical treatment methods using tinctures, decoctions, and juices of medicinal herbs. When choosing a method, it is recommended to consult a doctor.
